Map Marks

  • Can I create a Setup at another Location?
    Yes! To select another location follow these simple steps: Tap the search (magnifying glass) button in the upper right hand corner of the map. Enter the search criteria (eg street address) Tap the correct location from the list displayed below the searh criteria. NOTE: The pin displayed in the center of the screen will dissappear when you add a mat.
  • How do I add an icon to the map?
    Press the map at the desired location for 1 second or more. Then choose the correct type of icon (mark, blind, or mat) from the pop up menu.
  • How do I SAVE my setup details?
    Tap the "Save" button. You will be prompted to enter location and description information.
  • How do I Select an icon?
    Tap the base of the icon. When selected, the icon's size will increase.
  • How do I Deselect a previously selected icon?
    Tap the map beside the icon. The icon will return to its'normal size.
  • Can I move an icon?
    Yes! To move an icon, follow these simple steps: Select the icon (see above) Press the base of the icon (the icon will bounce up) and drag it to its' new location. Lift your finger and the icon will drop down to it new location Deselect the icon to redraw its' associated line(s) and distance(s).
  • How do I display the order that the marks were thrown or picked up?
    Yes! To display the order, follow these simple steps: Tap the settings (gear) button in the upper right hand corner of the map. Choose the "Show Titles" option. Add the marks in the order that you wish displayed. ie the first mark added will be "1", the send mark added will be "2", etc.
  • Where should I place the mat icon on the map?
    The Mark titles describe the throw directions from the perspective of the BOTTOM of the map. Therefore, adjust the map so that the mat is located at the bottom of the map, then add your marks above it.
  • Can I delete an icon?
    Yes! To delete an icon follow these simple steps: Tap the settings (gear) button in the upper right hand corner of the map. Choose the "Erase" option Tap the icon that you wish to delete. NOTE: If you delete a mat, all of the marks and blinds associated with it will be deleted as well.
  • Can I display my current location on the map?
    Yes! To display your location, follow these simple steps: Tap the settings (gear) button in the upper right hand corner of the map. Choose the "Show Location" option.
  • Can I hide the icon titles (e.d. "Left Angle Back") on the map?"
    Yes! To hide the icon titles, follow these simple steps: Tap the settings (gear) button in the upper right hand corner of the map. Choose the "Hide Title" option
  • Can I hide the distance boxes on the map?
    Yes! To Hide the distance boxes, follow these simple steps: Tap the settings (gear) button in the upper right hand corner of the map. Choose the "Hide Distance" option
  • Can I change the distance units to meters/yards?
    Yes! To change the distance units, follow these simple steps: Tap the settings (gear) button in the upper right hand corner of the map. Choose the "Show Meters/Yards" option.
  • Can I remove all of the icons from the map?
    Yes! To remove all of the icons, tap the "Refresh" button.

 A Mark (red), Blind (blue), or Mat (yellow) is displayed on the map as a "Bubble" icon.
The Blind and Mat icons are displayed at their actual locations. A Mark icon shows where a Mark lands, not where it is thrown from.
